Ceramic Cake Stand and Festive Baking – 30th November 2024

Arts & Wonder and Cake-tastic Worcestershire, are coming together for a wonderfully unique festive workshop combining ceramics and baking.  Make something truly special to adorn your festive table this year. Join Katie, Kitty and Nicola for a fun and creative few hours.  Come along to a totally unwinding experience, learn new skills, enjoy festive refreshments and immerse yourself  in the festive spirit.

In the morning, you will make a beautiful single-tiered cake stand using white clay and coloured decorating slips.  In the afternoon, you will bake four delicious individual chocolate drip cakes with a festive twist.

The cakes will be taken home on the day along with the recipe to recreate them in your own kitchen.  The ceramics will be professionally kiln-fired by Arts and Wonder and returned to the Cake-tastic studio for you to collect in time for Christmas or posted to you for an additional fee.  Please allow 3-4 weeks for the drying, glazing and firing process.

Date and time: Saturday 30th November 2024.  10:00am – 3:00pm.
Price: £145 per person –  Adults and children of a minimum 14 years when they are accompanied by a participating and paying adult only.   Price is per person, we are unable to accommodate sharing of the project nor unaccompanied non-participating persons.

Price includes:  Tuition, professional ceramic materials and kiln firings, baking ingredients and equipment.  Also light refreshments of tea, coffee and mince pie during the workshop.  You are welcome to bring your own packed lunch should you wish or there is an on-site cafe  to purchase light snacks.
